I stopped using chemical/ fragrance filled shampoos a long time ago. I’ve tried many different natural concoctions to clean out my hair. For awhile I used a homemade baking soda shampoo and an apple cider vinegar rinse. Eventually, I started noticing the baking soda shampoo was just too drying for my hair.
I began my search for the perfect store bought vegan shampoo for my family. I just didn’t have enough time or energy and threw in the towel on making my own shampoo. You have to pick your battles.
I tried many brands and some worked for most of the family except for my daughter and I, we have different hair types then the rest of the family.
I have FINALLY found a shampoo that EVERYONE LOVES!
This shampoo is wonderful! It has a beautiful scent, made with no nasty ingredients and best of all it is at a great price point, at only $10.
Now my hair routine is simple just shampoo and although I love the apple cider vinegar rinse, it definitely detangles and leaves hair smooth. I find I don’t need it using Acure. Acure does the cleaning, detangling, and moisturizing all in one. I just put a dime size amount of coconut oil in my hair after I get out of the shower. No frizz and extra moisture, plus it brings out the natural way to my hair.
If you decide to give Acure a try I would love to hear how you liked it in the comments below.
